The Kimel Family Education Centre is home to the northern branch of TanenbaumCHAT campus since 2007, and part of the Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus, a 50-acre site, divided into four quadrants. Another quadrant will house the Schwartz/Reisman Centre, which is slated to open in the late summer of 2012, will house athletic and sports programs in the Sydney and Florence Cooper and Family Sports Hall already in use by TanenbaumCHAT at the Kimel Family Education Centre. This capital project is changing the landscape of York Region – home to one of the world’s fastest growing Jewish communities anywhere outside of Israel.
